Callicutt Cattle Company

A family-owned farm. A brand rooted in the people behind it.

Strategy, visual identity & brand photography by Josh Gooch · Created through Best Branding Solutions

From the farm
to the farmers’ market.

Callicutt Cattle Company wanted to bring its brand to market while making the family-owned character of the business clear.

Working through Best Branding Solutions, we began with a visit to the farm. Getting to know the people, place, and daily work gave the project its starting point.

I developed the full brand strategy and visual identity, built every part of the system, and captured the brand photography—from the first farm visit through the finished materials.

01 / Identity

One identity.
Many ways to show up.

I drew a friendly, inviting cow-head mark and built it into a scalable identity system, with a full lockup and badge. The direct connection to cattle farming makes the business immediately recognizable.

The typography and green-and-yellow palette create a familiar, down-home farm aesthetic. The colors recall an agricultural tradition associated with John Deere without copying its palette.

A foundation for consistent communication.

The cow-head illustration carries across a full lockup, badge, and supporting applications. The guide brings those elements together so the business can use the identity consistently at different sizes and across different materials.

02 / Photography

Let the real story show.

I captured the brand photography during our farm visit. Family portraits, cattle, buildings, and everyday details make the family-owned story visible and connect the identity to the real business behind it.

03 / Applications

Built to go out into the world.

I built the identity into the materials the business needed to show up consistently—from customer information and packaging to apparel. Each application belongs to the same approachable farm identity.

A familiar face at the farmers’ market.

The client shared that customers like the logo and that the business is recognizable and stands out at farmers’ markets. That feedback connects the friendly identity to the setting it was built for.
