AIGA Charlotte’s annual Beer & Branding event is a two-part extravaganza that brings together local designers and homebrewers to create unique beers and their accompanying branding. The event kicks off with an initial meeting where teams are formed and a secret brewing ingredient is revealed. Over the following months, these teams collaborate to craft a beer and develop its branding package, considering aspects like beer style, the secret ingredient, local culture, and community. The culmination is a showcase event where attendees sample the brews, admire the designs, and vote for their favorites. The winning beer is brewed and released on site with NODA Brewing in Charlotte, NC
